【動画】「ジパング青春記」と閖上（ゆりあげ）の人々
2017年～2020年、全国各地で通算319回の公演を行ってきたミュージカル「ジパング青春記～慶長遣欧使節団出帆～」。
その中の公演地の一つ、宮城県名取市閖上地区では、地元の皆さんにより〝心の復興を願う閖上実行委員会″が結成され、東日本大震災で被災した住民の方々の心の復興につなげたいと「愛するふるさと閖上」をテーマにしたワークショップを開催(2020年11月－12月)。
わらび座ミュージカル「ジパング青春記」の出演者が講師となって、閖上地区の小中学生や住民、閖上太鼓保存会の皆さんと世代を超えて一緒に歌・和太鼓・踊りをつくりあげました。
実行委員会の皆さんの取り組みにかける想いや出演者の声など、舞台映像とともにお届けします。

About the musical:
On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred. Almost 10 years have passed since the moment when Japan was in deep sorrow. The people in the disaster area have been devoting themselves to restoring their economy, nature, and heart. About 400 years ago, people were suffering from the same sadness at the same place. How did they overcome the predicament? As a mediator between the past and the present, WARABIZA theater presents their stories through our musical “Zipang Graffiti”.
About this video:
The WARABIZA theater company was invited to Yuriage, where people severely suffered from the disaster, to perform “Zipang Graffiti”. Before the performance, we hold some workshops to communicate with local people. The actors starring in the musical became the instructors and created a show with the local people from a wide range of generations. We present their precious experience with their voices and some scenes from the musical through this video.
